    FS: Mk2 Golf Tdi 247bhp + 375 lb/ft

I have just bought back my URS6 and need to make room in the garage. So I'm selling my MK2 Golf TDI. It's far from standard and sort put some pretty quick stuff. Car is located on near Belfast but if anyone is interested just give me a shout, we could sort something out.

1991 VW Golf Mk2 with 1.9 Tdi conversion.

    Engine

Brand new ARL PD150 block/pistons/Bottom end etc. (6k ago)
Pistons modified for lower compression, high tensile head bolts etc.
    Running VE head, pump etc
VNT20 - GT2052v now with 56mm Billet Wheel just fully rebuilt (Aug 2014)
Brand new SCCR .280 injectors fitted, Aug 2014 full setup sheet supplied
Brand new genuine 11mm injection pump (bought from Germany)
PD130 inlet manifold, PD130 Exhaust Manifold
New 2.5” FMIC fitted behind grill, all 2” stainless pipework including 4 bar map sensor..
2.5"full exhaust system, currently no silencer, have a slip on twin pipe stainless silencer for MOT or noise reduction.
Lift pump in tank, standard GTI 16v, new fuel lines fitted
Audi TT airbox and 3” piping from airbox to turbo
New Timing belt fitted 1k ago
EDC15 ECU and loom fitted, including fly by wire throttle, full VAGCOM works, easy to map, cable and software can be supplied.
MK3 Golf front subframe and power steering
02J 5 speed gearbox, Pelequin LSD fitted, G60 driveshafts
4 plate paddle clutch, system converted to cable setup
280mm Brake conversion, Ferrodo endurance race pads, standard disc and pads supplied too.
    256mm rear disc conversion

    Interior
    Momo Corse steering wheel
Audi TT ½ leather/alcantara front seats
Oil temp, oil pressure and boost gauge fitted to stereo space.
Half roll cage fitted, OMP bolt in, although plate have been welded into the car to meet MSA specs.
Cage can be removed, front section of cage supplied also.
Cobra bucket will be supplied with the car, was going to swap out for track days etc.
Rear seats removed, MDF boot floor and rear seat are made, full leather rear seats come with car.
    OMP rear strut brace.
Small inline amplifier and new door speakers fitted.

    Shell

Good solid shell, not a minter, but never had any real welding. I repaired a small section on the drivers floor when I was fitting the cage.
Fully adjustable Spax shocks/springs, rear antiroll bar, rear strut brace.
    Poly bushed arms etc.
    Car is a sunroof model.
Car has 15 Azez’s and also a set of 16” Ibiza Cupra wheels.

Please do not confuse this car with a quick mk2 golf, this car is brutal, it will pull off the clock with no problem and has power from 2000rpm. I’ve fell in a few quick cars (280bhp impreza, RS focus) and the golf just walked over them. Video below, this was a 4th pull.

I have a 2 post lift at the house so any inspection welcome. I was not planning on selling the car anytime soon as I have pumped a lot of time and money into the car. I have had to chance to buy my old car back, so need to sell this first.

Car was dyno’d over Christmas, it made 247bhp and 375 lb/ft torque with the new turbo setup.

Price - £4500 and located near Belfast Northern Ireland

Wow !, sounds like a stunner. GLWTS. A Mk 2 Golf person will adore it. Next choice after C4 S cars.

Hope it stays in the fold so I can get a lift in it in 2015.

Looking forward to your C4 progress though.

Yep it's kinda fast car. Over a b road almost nothing can live with this thing as the power is so use able and it handles so well.

Just this pic at the minute, it has changed slightly as I moved the intercooler up between the headlights, (it used to have a S2 one in the lower bumper. I have another bumper away getting painted at the minute and planned to lose the fog lights and fit the air duct kit.

It originally ran the MK3 golf ECU, but needed chips burnt ever time it needed mapped. I changed it over to a more modern EDC15, it was from a Bora, along with loom and throttle pedal etc. It now flashes over the OBD port. I ended up mapping the car myself and have plenty of different maps for it.
