Looks like an OK car, manual, I like those rims not the C4 body, even though I'm very biased towards mk 1 S8.

Sell the plate and you're further ahead.

Agreed for sure, but presumably it is worth something, which is an added bonus to deduct from the purchase price.

Sunroof and climate control is nice also.

Left a deposit on the URS6 this morning. Lovely car, even nicer owner, Bernie off the forum. He's a proper enthusiast and it was great chatting to him. Everything that needs doing on these has been done.

Comes with a spare tailgate in the same colour as there is a couple of rust spots on the one fitted and it will be on S6+ wheels and Pirrelli rubber.

Pick it up next Saturday and I get the bonus of taking it over Woodhead Pass on the way home!

Where will you be heading? Try going over Wessenden Head Road too if that's not too far out of your way. It brings you into Meltham so quite close to the start of Woodhead Pass

I'm near Barnsley mate but I think I will be calling at Huddersfield on the way back so it could be a possibility. Is it worth the diversion?

I drove back on Saturday afternoon and the tops were stunning!

I'd say so, but if you're going to calling in at Hudds you might as well go over Saddleworth Moor! Come off the M62 at junction 22 and drop down to Denshaw, then the A640 takes you over Saddleworth Moor to Outlane (where you most likely would have come off the 62 anyway). Just keep an eye out for sheep!

S6 plus wheels are now on, looks loads better IMHO.

I've just insured it through Adrian Flux on a classic policy for £200 and will be picking it up tomorrow afternoon so more pics should be along shortly.
