Seats are an interesting colour

This was for sale last year down in Surrey, around £5k. I was after it but it sold before I had a chance to look at it.
The previous owner had it for some years I believe.

They are going up in value pretty quick at the moment

Those seats are factory. From talking to the old owner he had a lot of work done at AM Cars, a few years ago inc new rear subframe and lots of other items. The car did sound excellent, if it's local to you it's definitely worth a look, and for sure the owner didn't pay anywhere near what he is asking for it

Thanks, yeah might go for a look next week and see what its like. Does sound a bit like a salesmen with the old "pulls like a train" comment.

Never understood that, does that mean its slow accelerating with lots of smoke and take and age to stop....

it's a nice looking car but overpriced considering the mileage. fair do's for something with half that on it.

however, i might go take a look this weekend when i'm up at my folks' . .

a bit of both. i'm putting my ur quattro on the market soon and would like something nice to replace it.

i'll report back to you lot on how it looks, if he's still got it (at that price and the barber's chairs, i don't see it going anywhere fast!)

Looks like a good example...although is it just me or does the radiator expansion tank look empty??

the MAX mark is right on the seam of the tank so you can't really tell with an old one and not in a photo like that one - they're usually all grimed up anyway . .

Hey don't go knocking the price Craig lol!! Mine has similar mileage and I would never sell mine for £7500 now!!
