You lot know how it is if you have been a seller.

When I bought it, people on here were trying to gazump me, and then when I sold they wanted it for the price I paid, even tho id done a shitload of work on it to make decent... some right experts too.

There are some good blokes on here, and some top knowledge, infact it would be difficult to run an old Audi without forums like this, but there is no **** filter so anyone can get on the bandwagon, read a few posts and be an expert.

Agreed with the last few posts.All you need is a genuine bloke who knows what these cars are,appreciates the rarity and does't want to take the seller for **** written across his forehead. Too many tw**s out there who just like messing and or think all sellers have just got of the latest banana boat. :roll eyes:

It's strange how not so decent cars go for a little less. Yet the ones that have had work done and Ofcourse are priced slightly higher just sit there. To be fair the price isn't even an issue. I saw the car at classics on the common, I waited around for the owner as I was tempted by it. Neither went to plan as I bought something else.
But correct on the low blow offers, especially off the forum. The cheek of some to actually come, test drive it like it was their own and then offer something ridiculous even after complimenting the drive.
