            It is still on there.

Ebay is playing up as it keeps going and coming back

Why is that? Would you care to elaborate on your thoughts

Certainly worth the money as a breaker, probably not to get back on the road to a good standard.

It's just quite a lot of money for that car in my opinion, especially when £5000 can get you some good examples. Quite a lot of work needs doing, but as Error mentioned it has a good spec, so that might why people want it.

I guess it would make a good long term project. I would have many of those if I had a garage

I would pay £2500 for it, but no more and only as I am a sucker for hard work
Sadly as is often the case with 3Bs it is probably worth more as a breaker than as a project.
I hope it does get saved, ultimately an early 3B will be a good investment if nothing else.

It is not in a bad standard, I understand the advert may state otherwise but we have bought worse back on to the road and they are still alive and running well.

The bodywork is tatty and it requires a clean up and a little fettle, all the electrics work, the car drives and stops.

It would be quite a lot of work for someone who is going to strip it down and ruin it but not for the enthusiasts on this site

I've bought a hell of a lot worse than that (as has Andy)
Given another year or so (after the missus has calmed down about the last purchase and going on the assumption I get it back to Finland at some point) I would be stroking my chin and making "hmmmm" noises.
Interior looks to be in much better nick than many 3Bs and everything else is always going to be challenging. S2 owners don't buy S2s for easy motoring though. It's because we can see past the scuffs and bumps to the timeless beauty of the design. That and the 5 pot engine with a turbo speaks directly to your nuts

Looks like a bargain to me what other 4x4 turbo coupe can you buy for that sort of money
