No idea I'm sure somebody else can help with the history, what the owner stated was he has owned the car for some time it was running full rs2 setup which he then removed and put aby s2 setup apparently tonks has done some work on it...

I saw the vehicle in 2009 and was asked to make it run with what had been fitted.
It was in a very sorry state back then. It was then left at my premises for about 6 or 7 months of which I was then charging storage.
At one point I even applied for the logbook to sell it on at which point he came and paid his bill and took it away.

From what I remember it was not nicely executed and there were no RS2 bits on it when I saw it.

Why do people remove full RS2 set up and put back to S2, apparently this happened to my car it's very frustrating can only imagine they want to profit from the RS2 bits

I saw this car in 2008, it had a complete ADU in it which he was trying to sell.
Was asking £3k for the engine.

The owner was friendly but very quickly discovered aux gauges not working oil pressure etc, Sump gasket leaking, rocker cover gasket leaking, timing belt cover missing which isn't with the car, the car is running fine, no issues at all at the MOMENT. Needs bushes etc doing and a good clean up underneath oil leaks etc. but it drives and stops straight just about tracking is out but will get that done after bushes.

Interior is straight and all there other than saggy headlining.

Bodywork needs attention poor re spray plenty of orange peal. But looks straight and the only signed of rust are on the wing bubbling.

Intentions are just to make it a solid reliable every day driving car.

If anybody could help me I would like the electrical sides of the engine checked over to make sure nothing has been bodged. Anybody close to Manchester reasonable priced pm me .
