First time poster here and I found your post very interesting. Dare I say the price seems very attractive. Can you give a bit more detail than found on ebay on the car please? Work done etc would be useful.

Apologies totally misread that. Looks like a gorgeous car, but seems way too cheap to be true, but the ad I found doesn't seem to state why...? I'm still stuck in Coupe vs Avant debate (I understand that saloons are rare as hens's teeth) and need to find some finance. Other than that good to go

I have never seen a saloon in S2 guise, unless someone has created one from
an Audi 80 shell. Was the saloon an option in Europe?

There are one or 2 genuine RHD S2 Saloons here in the Uk Craig as Audi did i think 10.There's one on the forum a nice red one.Only Europe got the S2 saloon sadly.

They look classy now, and due to rarity are more desirable than the coupe.

Yeah I understand about 300 or so LHD ones were built, but none came to the UK. Definitely would go for the saloon if they were more readily available. Think I'm leaning towards the Avant though.

Thats what i thought until i saw a genuine Rhd car at ADI last October and spoke with owner who mentioned Audi made several as i pointed out a couple of posts ago.

I was quite surprised by the amount of people that didn't believe my car was a genuine S2 Sedan though? I know I've added a bit of my own taste to her but I can confirm that she is genuine!

I don't think so. It was relisted and possibly then sold off the back of that.
