Plastic boot lids were for the mb and rr and only for the ur Quattro not coupe

I've had two cq with them on.
Must have been fitted after factory

You're both wrong unless it's a UK thing? Both my coupe quattro's had the plastic boot lid.

My 85 has metal one.Switzerland import.Other Switzerland import i worked on,86 model was metal also.Other 85 Germany import i have worked on,metal also.All 3 had OE stickers on the back,so must be original.

Plastic would be nice.It would not rust under the back sealant contour
