For the right price it's a no-brainer. Though I imagine that this example will fetch a handsome figure, so high that it would be a while before any real profit is viable.

I know, even if it sells for £25k the next year it's gonna be £26k at least, they're great investments!!

I can see this car making £25K with the low mileage and good history, what it's going to be worth in 12 months time is difficult to predict though it's probably safe to say 'more'.

Not wanting to hijack the thread, but I'm now feeling more smug than before that I have a Ragusa Green UrS6 saloon.

Obviously an RS2 Ragusa Green Avant is amazing, that one was for sale in Cork was a case in point.

But without going into all of the advantages of a RS2'd UrS6, I think the next big thing should be a UrS6 saloon or Avant in plus spec. Just sayin............

Intend to eventually getting Quaife to make a quick rack when funds allow.

So instead of buying UrS6 cars and cherishing them, they are being broken for their engine and gearbox.

That tatty Ragusa Green UrS6 Avant for sale approximately 12 months ago would have been cheap to buy and could have bee turned into a 'big' RS2 Avant.

I know I'm plowing a lonely furrow, but Mark and Craig have got the right cars, along with few others on here.

Autos when fried by Prj are still well good too. I have one of those as well so I can talk from experience.

If you're serious about a C4 S car or a B4 S car, buy a tatty spare one to stash away now as they are all getting rarer and there were not enough made in the first place / now left in existence for any aftermarket companies to make parts for them. They are not like what's available for BMW E30 for example.

I agree with all of that Mac.Would you believe i could not have tried harder to get Craig to buy your Ragusa USR6 when it was available.I think what you paid was a bargain,too much for some but for me a complete no brainer!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have bought it without even a blink when it was first up for sale at 30,000 miles here in london 2/3 years ago. They are special cars thats for sure. This is probably telling as the boat has not sailed yet but it's imminent.I asked over on CA for opinions on URS6 values and other audis of course.Plenty was said about UR Quattros and a bit on S2's but there keeping very quiet about offering up prices on URS6 cars,not wanting to ruin possible chances of bagging a bargain perhaps.

As you have said in the past going back a couple years at least they are superb cars and in many ways better than the S2. I would be interested in a quick rack,i reckon you should do a group buy.Same for me though when my funds have recovered.

£17k now! It looks lovely! I think I need to go move all my RS2 bits inside the garage, values are on the way up it seems. By the time mine is back on the road I think it'll be worth as much as I've spent on it. Better spend more, hobbies are supposed to cost money

Good to see you posting, hope you're keeping well.

Watching your posts over the last 18/24 months and thinking that you're taking your time to sort your RS2, but t's very easy to be critical. so I won't say a thing.
