I have the opportunity to buy a ridiculous car and the dealer has offered me £14k for my RS2. I know they will retail it for £22k!!
Before I even contemplate that I thought I would ask any of my fellow Audi fans does anyone want it? So serious offers invited. Will post pictures if people are interested.
It is exactly the same as that chap from Ireland who had his on Pistonheads (on at £19,850), in that it is Ragusa with grey alcantara but mine has 128k miles.
New stuff:
• Headlining
• DAB stereo and aerial (well the headlining was out so rude not to and aerial looks standard!)
• Side lights
• Small radiator
• Silicon hoses (black) and the proper RS2 kit from Roose
• Thermostat
• Oil pressure sensor
• Turbo coolant pump
• Second hand aircon evaporator fitted plus re-gas
• Professional repaint of; Wing mirrors (corrosion on the bases); Bonnet (stone chips); Tailgate (bubbling at base of screen)
• Rear RS2 badge (have original)
• Alloys refurbished with paint not powder
• Gear lever cover from Audi tradition (how much!!)
• Re-coloured drivers bolster so looks great
• Tyres went on around 1000miles ago (Michelins)
And best of all………
• Lower door trims – painted alongside bonnet and tailgate, zinc primed and waxoiled so should last an age (have originals if you need them)
Left on my list of to do but not essential
• Petrol tank shields, like everyone else’s, are rotten and could do with new ones fabricating (of course they are NLA!)
• I would put a Milltek exhaust on it
• Cambelt was done at around 115k miles but that was 6 years ago. I have 2 RS2 cambelts and 2 idler pulleys but just haven’t got around to booking it in
• Oil temp doesn’t work so have a new switch which would go on when the cambelts do
It has a full history, last official service at 122k miles and I have changed the oil and filter twice since then. MOT is due May/June but can easily slap a new one on. It has an MTM ECU upgrade and I have a dyno of 337BHP from around 5 years ago. Oil pressure as expected and the handbrake works!!
