For a RS2 owner like me, i think it is great, that the prices are moving on up. But as a none RS2 owner who would like to buy one, it must be anoying to see this .

But a price on a car means nothing, its all down to how much money passes hands. Do you honestly believe they go for £60k?

Happens with all cars eventually, prices rise by people pushing their luck, MK2 Golfs are a prime example, people asking £1000s for a base model, they sit for sale for months while dozens go through eBay for a fraction of what they're asking. Meanwhile others are pricing theirs to match the expensive one, which eventually makes it the norm.

It'll be sub 5 years before £60k is fairly realistic...

Not that I am thinking about it at that price but how much to bring to the UK, over and above what you might pay? Bound to be eye watering!
