I would imagine the previous owner was happy with what he got for it otherwise he wouldnt have sold it, so im not sure why youre saying "poor Johnny", he doesnt have to let it go cheaper than he really wants to does he? Just because RS2`s have risen in value over the ast couple of years, previous owners cant think back and say i didnt get what i really wanted for it, of course they did because that was what they were worth at that time. Its that old saying, a car is only worth what someone will pay for it....

Poor Jonny here

I got what the car was worth at the time in fact I received £12000 cash from Paul and I was happy with that because it did need some bits doing to it, what people do with the car after I have sold it is nothing to do with me or anyone else for that matter I really needed the room at the time as I put in the ad when I sold it.

I have another RS2 that I am doing a total refurbishment on.

If the cars are increasing in price that much then well done that man.

God only knows what mine will be worth when finished then

How much, no one really knows because so few are for sale at any given time, none on ebay for a few months, now it's spring there are a couple, and that one in Brazil

Okay there are probably more for sale in Europe, but in RHD we're talking a build no. IIRC of around 315 examples.

Ultimately the market sets the price, how much does the seller want to sell, meets how much a buyer wants to buy.

Like I said in the other thread, as a result of a pending divorce I sold a Jensen FF about ten years ago, I sold it for around 15 k, now find me an FF.
- and again production numbers for FFs is around 300.
