While on the RS246 you say "If the car doesn't sell as a whole Asking price £5700 - I may break and will make a list of wanted parts and parties however I would rather the car go to someone who can devote the time (and cash to getting it back to where it should be )"

well if no one buys I "MAY" have to break to recoup my money .... if I wanted to break surely I would have it in bits by now ...

This whole debacle has added some shade to the deal now, you've only had it 2 minutes and its got another owner on the log book. Not the same deal any more.

Wish it had gone to somebody who kept it, but if op is happy who are we to complain.

To be fair, it's a good appraisal of the car, and to be honest sounds like there's not much
wrong with it - even though it may take a couple of ££££ to get it better... Doesn't sound like its shagged and needs major work.

It looks even more of a better buy now...

It seems to be in great shape, slap tyres on change suspension iron out some niggles and you got a decent car. What car doesn't need work when you buy it. Christ where I work I can see a car being sold and back in brand new with like a few hundred miles needing a new turbo, egr, engine it's crazy. Today's cars are poorly made

I'm afraid selling any vehicle on today's forums invites much scrutiny ...and often OTT criticism....(yes and there can be some praise too)...I do wonder about posting a car for sale myself if/when the time comes....

Anyway present seller has identified extra stuff needing looked at and pointed out that £££s need spent( yup, no surprise there as noted in last post),
so this has to be good for the next buyer...
