The time has come to sell my wife’s car unfortunately, we have owned the car for just over 7 years and it has been faultless.
Audi A3 Sportback 2.0 tdi Sport (BKD 140 BHP), 6 speed manual, 2006 (06) finished in Akoyo Silver (pearl) with full leather sports interior.
131,500 miles with full service history, Audi service history to 77,000 then audi specialist. 1 former keeper, our car since July 2009.
With the car being a sport it comes with;
sports big bolstered seats
3 spoke leather perforated steering wheel
Factory Sports lowered suspension
Black window surrounds (instead of chrome)
17 inch sport alloys
Other features; Climate control, 4x EW, EM, ABS, Traction control, PAS, remote central locking and alarm, cd player with added IPhone connectivity (charge and control music from head unit), immobilizer, Full leather interior, full size spare wheel.
The A3 is on Dunlop 225 45 17 tyres all round.
I have heard some horror stories regarding oil pump drive failures on 2,0 tdi engines but it only affects inline 2.0 tdi engine in the A4 and Passat etc. The BKD transverse mount has escaped these failures as the pump must be driven differently.
The major service jobs have been completed: New battery fitted 1 month ago, New LUK clutch and dual mass flywheel (18/12/14) @ 122,000.
New continental contitech Timing belt kit at genuine water pump at 112,446 0n 18/04/13, all with receipts.
New genuine front wishbone bushes (big alloy housed ones) and four wheel alignment at 128,000 11/04/16.
The car has the full bookpack and 2 remote keys and lots of history and invoices.
Good condition all round and extremely reliable. For sale due to needing a larger vehicle for our growing family.
