Nearly took a punt on this, the auto box put me off a little and judging from the condensation inside the car I'd say there's a water leak or two to deal with plus it went for more than my max bid would have been. Someone got a relatively good buy I'd say, a lot of car for £2K, I like the interior a lot.

I'd really like a C4 quattro Avant, would make a great load lugger.

It sold for so little for a couple reasons,perception being the most important reason. There was no effort taken to advertise the car and the salubrious surroundings,not, might have said as much about the car. If the owner had taken the time to get it cleaned up polished and waxed, shown interior shots,and photographed it in better surroundings the price would have been complete different i'm sure.Still it was an Auto and never as desirable as manuals,which is a shame really as they drive nice from my experience,just not sure i could live with 13 mpg's around town.
