Thats some serious money for an all original UR no matter how many NOS parts have been used to spruce it up, its only a few years ago that S1 sports quattros could be had for this money, there is also a pretty much original 20v on ebay at the moment at just under £40, all helps with S2 values.

Needless to say if I had £100k to invest in a car it woud not be this UR ! My neighbour sold his one owner 40,000 mile 1995 Ferrari 512tr testarossa in 2014 for £80k which I thought was cheap at the time (cost £165k new in 1995, the local audi dealer had offered him £20k in a p/x against a new Q5 - insult, they quickly sent someone round from their specialist division the following day to up the offer to £70k which ws still not enough in my opinion) thought about buying it myself at the time as an investment (wish I had) as they doubled in price in 2015.

Agreed. It is not a buyers market at the mo and wont be until the markets go pop again with a downturn in house prices and a hike in interest rates.
