Audi Diesel info sites

Any1 know of sites for older Audi diesels specs, weights etc. I am after an Audi A4 2.5 tdi

Parkers will give you plenty of specs.

Good garages for deisel Audis are CB Autosales in Kirkcaldy or Audideisels.com

I looked into getting a 2.5TDi. Nice cars, 150BHP standard. Get Mihnea to chip it up to 200bhp for you. You'll still get 35 to 40 mpg!

that was the plan, close to 200 bhp and loads of torque

yeah the latest A6 2.5 v6 tdi has 180bhp, sure Mihnea could extract a few more ponies there.....I think it went something like 140/150/163 and finally 180bhp on that engine. The early 2.5 was a 5 cyl IIRC.....

Mihnea has told me that the newer 180bhp engine can't be chipped easily. You can only get another 4 or 5bhp out of them. Its the 150bhp engine thats the one to go for.

A6AVANT brought his 1.9 TDI from www.audidiesels.com He said they were very helpful, delivered it to you door for free (although you live a little bit further away from them than we do!) They have alot of estates on their site most of the time......
