AEL mpg what do you get?

My car is Quattro with mods but think my Mpg is lower due to the turbo choice over the standard k14.
I do drive it hard a times - 34mpg on display is usually the best I see. Mixed driving in town,motorway and back roads.
If you have had a AEL and bad mpg.

What was the fix?

Display can be a bit off. I used to get 38 odd on urban driving (commuting) on mine, got 50 on motorways.

I've never managed to achieve the mpg most claim to get on their cars anyway but yours will be slightly worse being quattro too.

Mines pretty similar to yours, my trip computer is now accurate to around 1mpg of actual since I fitted new nozzles.

My old Quattro a6 tdi managed high 30's urban and around high 40's combined.

Is there any faulty sensors that can put mpg up. Coolant temp sensor for example???

Have you checked what you're actually getting, rather than what the trip is telling you?

I usually see 200 to 225mile to 25litres.

I did 950 miles in mine on Thursday,most of it at 80mph worked out about 42mpg,dash was saying 46

Yes been on nearly 5 years

Averaged 42 on dash today on a 120mile trip. Sitting at around 70/80.
