Audi 80 1.9 tdi owners, I need bloody help

I am sorry for writing here about my poor diesel engine, but i really dont know where else to hit my head.

From some time i had some problems with the engine. I lost some 20 horsepower, and had some black smoke coming from the exaust. Then about two weeks ago i lost even more power, now i have maybe about 30-40 hp left! Is it possible that a faulty LMM could be the reason for loosing 50 horsepower?? The compression of the cilinders is ok i think (25 bar in the first and third cilinder and 27 in the second and forth), no oil consumption, the turbo fills good. I removed the turbo, cleaned all the pipes, also the intercooler and the collectors. No changes at all! I also changed all the filters.

I have some heavy black smoke, so there is enogh fuel. I bought a new bosch pump less than a year ago brand new from germany. The engine is gains revs really slowly, top speed is 150km/h, also, there is practically no braking with the engine (i hope you understand what i mean) and the acceleration is pathetic.

I am really out of ideas? What is there else to do?

One option is the LMM, the second option is the computer, and maybe the gas pedal potentiometer?

If you have any ideas, really ANY... i would be gratefull...

Sounds like the air flow meter is faulty.

or no turbo boost, have you checked how much boost you are getting, that could account for the somke too much fuel not enought air

I cleaned the turbo and it works. both the rotors are intact, and the turbo works. I didnt measured how much it is pumping, but i removed the short rubber pipe, before the air gets into the intake, and stepped on the gas and there is really a strong air flow coming out of there. The Garret T2 should be pumping 0.8 bar right? I thought it could be the valves or the camshaft, but the compression of the cilinders is allright i think (25 and 27 bar). Tomorrow evening i will try to remove the cat.

It feels like something is soffocating it.

Try the erg valve. It it is stuck open the exhaust and inlet mix and you get no power. Also check that their are NO leaks on the inlet pipes. You should have 12 psi boost 0.8Bar.
