A6 c4 AEL red warning light

Hi all.. I changed the oil the other day, cleaned the air filter, then drove up the hill and got a red ' ! ' warning light.. and 3 beeps. But then it went away.

I first thought it was to do with the oil because i was half a liter of oil down from max. So i topped it up to max line , but then today , I started the car and just as i was driving off, the warning light and 3 beeps popped up again, but then went away again

Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply.. it was the brakes. My fluid was at minimum level. i've just topped it up but the warning had become more frequent today before the top up. Sign of a leak? perhaps? :-\
