I think it too but it would be better if the Digital display will look like this but in the Tiny form they provide for the Dash buttons!Attached FilesLast edited by Billman; 26 October 2005, 13:23.Go Holset or Go RS4Comment

Buy this and take the display out. Extend the wires and fit it wherever you want!

-2 bar? Are they trying to defy the laws of physics? From the information ive been given they are currently looking at it displaying between -2bar and +2bar
I might, however, be interested in an AFR-meter if they actually are for real.Markus

What about the OE display thats in the URS4? Same as the S2 but it ditches the instant MPG and you get digital boost pressure? Lets face it who looks at the instant MPG? Its enough to brake a man after 5 mins

The guy who builds those A2 VW/Jetta/Bora gauges is here in Canada. In fact, he just moved from Saskatoon Saskatchewan (where I used to teach) to Vancouver BC where I am now (17 years). I had contacted him about Audi gauges before he moved and at that time, he said that the Audi switches that he would use as a starting point are much more expensive that the VW he uses for his current line of gauges. On that basis, and his impending move, he wasn't interested in Audi gauges at the time. But now he has moved and perhaps, its game on.
I have contact info at work. I'll try to post a link to the website (that Google couldn't find a minute ago).RS2'd 93 UrS4 5 spd sedan

Vacuum is typically measured in inches (mm) of mercury. I have a Autometer analogue boost gauge in my 93 S4. The range is 30 inches of Hg to plus 30 psi (gauge) of boost. With my car, it idles (when warm) at 15 inches of vacuum and boosts to 26 to 28 psi (MRC RS2 software). On throttle off, after WOT, I will see 20 inches of Hg vacuum. I also run Kevin Day's TDS-1 digital information center which has one of its functions as boost (and vacuum). The readings compare very closely.

for boost and EGT i got my EGT sensor kit from this person. The gauge seems subtle and the lighting can be ordered at any colour you like. The only problem is that you either get the lighting always ON or you dont.
I was thinking of buying something like that for boost gauge in case i decide to fit a larger TV/double din audi screen,in which case the middle vents would have to be replaced with smaller and the EGT and boost gauges would become digital to be able to fit.Comment
