I helped Angus fit the water hoses to his RS2. All good with plenty of clearance to the inlet manifold. Also good with regards using the S2 coolant hoses on the RS2 (which has a bit of weirdness about it).
The only niggle worth pointing it is that the fat link hose to the thermostat housing is a real struggle to fit. I checked diameter and its identical to factory hose, but because the Samco item is so much more rigid there is quite a fight to be had getting it over the heavily lipped ends of the hose locations. Lots of assembly oil (and elbow grease) were used to fit that one.
I have asked Samco to correct this in future kits with a larger diameter hose. Meantime I have also asked them for larger hoses for those that bought the 1st batch. I can post those out when I get them...
Whilst this sounds like a minor thing, its pretty major when you remember that the fat link hoses invariably has to be cut out - leaving you in a necessity to fit the new one.
