Just to make things more interesting, we now have enough numbers to make 2 group buys - if you are unable to make this first group buy but really want a set, I am arranging with Sten to have a '2nd batch' for a group-buy in April.

So - if I haven't heard from you soon, I will have to 'demote' you to this 2nd group-buy as I need to pass all the name/address details to Sten after the weekend. if I dont' have your details by then, you won't be in the first group-buy, but there is hope for a second one.

I must point out that we have a fantastic price on this buy, there is no margin for extra discount as some have requested; if Sten drops the price any more it simply won't be worth him doing the group-buy as as his profit margin will be so low!

For UK buyers - Unless you have a VAT number, Swedish VAT will have to be paid for your order. I'm afraid that this is the only way we can do it without possible legal implications; trust me I've made alot of enquiries on this one!

Please, can you send details to me and not to SPM direct. Many thanks to all those who have been in contact today. Good job I wasn't in work or else I'd have been sacked, with the time I've been logged into the forum

To clarify, all those who wanted to be in the buy but couldn't make the deadline - no fear, there is going to be another group buy in about 6 weeks time. We will need 9 orders to get the same price, shipping may be a touch higher as Sten has informed the prices are going up (only by a few ££ so not a biggie). He will be honouring the prices quoted for the first buy, so please no worries there. Currently we have 7 people in, plus alot of interest for the second buy.

BUT BACK TO THE FIRST BUY (my priority at the moment);

I am still waiting to hear from a handful of people. I've sent PMs to ALL who have registered interest and I don't have details for, so please reply ASAP (even if it's to let me know you can't make it) I am hoping to hear back from EVERYONE by the end of today.

yes it's too early to expect to be receiving rods yet Billman! These money transfers usually take a few day - I'm still waiting on a couple of payments to clear, so it'll likely be next week for your rods.

We do have a slight problem though. Sten was good enough to email me last week to say that he'd sold a whole lot of 144x20 rods in the past few weeks and doesn't have enough stock to fulfil the order Not much I could do really, other than request that any stock he does have gets reserved for our buy. I know that ALBERT and also JOHNNY_BOY needed rods asap, so I'm hoping he'll send out these sets as soon as payments have cleared, so you guys can get building your engines

Good news is, ample stock for this buy will be arriving and should be shipped first week of April. Sorry to all for the delay, I hope this doesn't cause anyone too much problems and as mentioed I'll be constantly on SPMs back to try and get this sorted - I've done the best I can for this buy and won't quit :mischeif:

This won't affect a second buy, as Sten did mention that he'll ensure he has extra stock. Anyone who would have problems waiting another 3 weeks for their rods, please PM me and I'll check stock with Sten and see if we can't get a set out early.

I have Speaked with him to clear the Euros thing and he told me that he has the 158 mm 23mm rods in Stock right now for shipment (that was a week ago)! Hope this thing works! Did you send him the Shipping adresses ect?

Yeah I've done everything I can on my end now, except send the final payment for the UK order - as mentioned, jsut waiting for a couple of payments to clear. Sten does have the 158x23's in stock, so you will get those sooner that most.

So, i send the money on 8 March to SPM (2 day before that they told me that they have the 158mm 23mm Rods in Stock) and send them last week a mail if they get the money or not!
I got a reply on monday they told me that they need to know all my personal data (i have already send my name on the first mail) and adress in order to check if the payment is in! I replied immediately. After no replay i have send them a mail again in Thursday and today another one. Finally and got now an answer! It is the following:

Problem: From 14 April till end of the month i am going to be away and i am afraid they will get lost or send back! I wrote it to him and hoping for an answer!

I've sent an email this week for an update on your situation Billman, haven't heard back yet. Sten mentioned this week that he had your rods in stock so I'm not sure what's going there.

As per the main order, I'm still expecting 2 urgent sets to be sent out and the rest early April. I'm sorry the order has been held up, as mentioned I'm doing all I can from my end to get info back to you guys! Seems to be the way with group buys doesn't it, all is perfect until you should be receiving stock and then it goes pear shaped I've asked for confirmation that payments have arrived, just please remeber these things can take a while to clear... rest assured you will all get your rods!!
