Any advice for the coolant fluid ? I heard a lot of things about colors, corrosion, mixing or not different liquids ...

Hi M-Henri,

You need some PINK stuff ! Also known as G12 Plus 1,5 liter bottle.

Part number at any VAG d/ship is : G 012 A8F M1. You'll need 2 bottles.

IIRC, you need to dilute it by 2/3 rds so that's 1/3rd of coolant additive and 2/3rds water.

Also, you might have to splice one of the cabin radiator hoses to be able to fit the AUTO AIRCON UNIT sensor if your car has the automatic A/C unit ( sorry I don't know the exact name for it ). I had to do it, that's for sure otherwise it's just a case of dismantle, change the clamps while you're at it for stainless steel ones, and then just put together again.
( though I can't brag about having done this myself... )

Then spend a week getting the trapped air out of the coolant system and marvel at the gurgling sounds your hot engine will be making when you turn it off !

Next Samco GP order is being placed week commencing 11th September. I already have some funds in place from a few people so don't want to hang around with this one.

Send me a PM with your requirements for S2 / RS2 turbo and coolant hoses and choice of colour. 3B, ABY and ADU engines only of course. Only people who have paid in full before the order is placed can be guaranteed their order in this batch.

Prices as normal at £210 for the turbo hose kit and £175 for the complete water hose kit. Postage is extra to your destination.

Do i have to take a full set of boost hoses, or is the individual hoses in the set available as well ?
I need just the intercooler to throttle body pipes.. Is this possible ?

Hi, does this mean (as I have auto air con) I need to get a couple of extra clips and a way of joining it? or is it fairly straightforward?
Basically do I need to buy any extra bits to connect the water hoses as I have to splice in the sensor...

Two more clips is all you need on that one matrix hose.

I thought I had already apologised to everyone for the delays on this - I have been crazy with work all through the Summer. It has been a nightmare as I have not been able to keep with all things on the forum.

I never did place an order in July. The next order will be week mid September... And the normal lead time is 6-8 weeks (plus shipping time).
