Arrow Precision Titanium Con-Rods Group Buy

    Hi guys,

I'm trying to get a group buy on for a set of arrow titanium rods.

Still trying to finalise exact prices from arrow but the initial quote was 2750 GBP for a set of five!!!

Hopefully I'll have a more accurate price by this evening and I can post some more details. If Dave or Russell are ever available.

If we can get 10 people interested the price could be approx. 1250 GBP for a set of 5. :mischeif:

I know it's a hefty price tag but considering steel carillos are not far short of that it's not to bad.

Anybody looking for rods at the moment?

      HI

Is there any particualr reason you want titanium?/except for the bling factor!!

I mean are you building a high revving Race Motor?

If not why not trya GB on steel arrows.......price would be nearer £850 a set before the GB so could come down to a sensible price?!!

and no way would anyone touch the limits of their steel rods.....

A few BMW turbos in the US run over 1000 hp on arrows with no problems

I want to build a high revving motor. Titanium or billet steel is the best material for what I want to build I desperateley want titanium but sadly the pricetag is depressing me

Especially seeing that I spoke to arrows Russell to tell me today...

"Dave must have been on another planet when he quoted you that, he must have quoted you for motorbike rods. We can supply those rods for 650 each and 100 discount for a group buy, it doesn't matter how many people you get we can only offer you 100 discount"

Quoted me for motorbike rods?!? I told him 2.2 5cyl turbo Audi S2 engine, 144 length rods. Some motorbike!

        great news eh?

So next port of call for me is Stateside! I should get a better deal with the pound vs the dollar!

Titanium rods don't seem to take alot of interest because of the high price tag maybe if I could've got them for 1250 then maybe I might have got somewhere but that price makes me want to chuck up

I will have to go it alone it seems but i'll post my discoveries up if I can get a good deal.
