For the S4 guys. I got a new undertray from Vagparts last year £80 or £90 IIRC. Didn't think that was too bad. On the S4 it makes a hell of a difference to the flow through the intercooler, channels air up into it instead of letting it pass underneath. Mihnea also suggested cutting louvres in the wheel arch above the intercooler to help the flow out the other side as well, as it's really got nowhere to go apart from the engine bay.

    Graeme.
94 UrS4 Avant, slowly modding as we go. Now gone replaced with:
    2001 S6 Avant, V8 works for me!

Much more OE to do this, the wheel liner costs £18.43

        frankenliner

use the S4tt 8D0 821 171 G, if your already missing the main undertray though is is not really required but is vital if you want good airflow through the intercooler if the undertray is present.

Now that looks like a nice little mod, I'll certainly look into doing that if I get a new tray.
          Good find Corey!

                Terry,
I don't know where you work but,
Having being trained by Aston Martin to make aluminium panels myself i cannot see how any one could make one in ali for under £200.
They would be alot of work. Plenty of shape to them.

Interested to see what you can sort?

                all the best,

                Rob

ali is expensive at the mo,had a word with a guy and he said mount it to the subframe.or mount to car weld nuts so it can be bolted on.
