Group Buy: AKmotorsport C4 rear suspension top mounts for cars with RARB

[hunker7]

Hi guys,

I've spoken to Albert about possibility of making limited run of rear suspension mounts for C4 chassis with rear anti roll bar. Last time I checked these were £180 a pair from Audi, but don't even know if they're still available.

We need at least 5 pairs (10 mounts) to make a run, so currently looking for interest, and if there is enough Albert can look into making them at, I qoute "as always reasonable" price!

As far as I know they are the same on Avant and Saloon.

[GT500]

I’m in.
Thanks for organising these.

Spoke to Audi just now and they've been discontinued about a year ago and last price was £89+VAT.

GT500 you're on the list mate, already have enough interest and spoke to Albert, he said he'll look into it.

Let me know the price. I don't need any, but at the right price...

That's interesting. Surely if Audi discontinuous a part it is across the whole board? I have had when Audi says part is available but when they go to order it it comes back as NLA.

More people the better, I'll put you on the list

Updated! rear top mount 441512331 has been dropped a couple months ago.the ETKA online showed it was discontinued on 2017.i just texted the parts guy who is working at the Audi Dealer yesterday after seeing this post.

I should have ordered at the time they were still available.now I believe the stock in Singapore will be returned to Audi Tradition!!??Singapore is the major stock and Hub for VAG parts in South East Asia.

[hunker7]

Wonder how much they'll charge for them once they move to Tradition

[popdemonic]

yeah i guess so.Any alternative mounts to fit instead of the original mounts?the mounts didn't look so fancy to fit another mounts in though.just had a quick looking on my service booklet,i replaced a pair of this mounts 14 years ago.they're $80 ea.at that time.

Big ups to Albert. The more parts available
the merrier. Keep them coming.

I've already told him there is plenty of interest but he's kinda forgotten about it I guess, sent him a message but no reply.
