CP Pistons GB

Hi,

i have been in contact with CP pistons and they said that if we can get an order of 40 pistons or 8 sets then they could do a good price.

Problem is they would ship only in one place all sets and then they should be sent to other participants.

Is there any interest on these pistons?

Wrist Pin $12.00 5 $60.00
Locks $1.75 10 $17.50
Pin Fit $7.25 5 $36.25

Extras:

High Grade 9310 Pin $26.50 each
Gas Ports $19.00 each
CP Groove $3.00 each

The GB will come if we get 8 Sets.

$852 with the options I was planning to have.

This GB is too soon for me unfortunately I need to get the manifold and stroker in 1st then I can commit to this.

8 sets is a tough order but there are a few people modding at the moment so it may be possible

I see we where quoted with different Normal Prices and i think that we are going to need some time till we gather all the people needed.

Maybe he gave me a very normal Price so the GB price will sound "Very Good".

Okay, dumb question. Will the GB be for the same spec of piston, or we get the discount purely on the quantity?

Reason is i'm looking round at options for a 7A piston for a turbo application.

Would like to see Jamo's prices, better or worse?

They said we need 8 5cyl sets or at least 40 Pistons. The question was for different pistons, not 8 same sets.
The GB price will be better than Jamos quoted price.

I am trying to find what the CP-Groove is.
Contact-reduction is the Anti detonation groove.

I was looking for the normal price just because I want to fit it to my calculation, always go high when you do it.. So if I calculate the normal price then I won't be disappointed. Just found out today what the VDO gauge cost me and I almost fell out of my chair.... So this sounds alot better. Hopefully 7 more will be interested .

The pistons come standard with double pin oilers and accumulator grooves.

With Billmans quote plus options it works out at 1173.75!

Don't know why CP have quoted different prices.

The only thing I can think of is I supplied a complete piston spec to them down to the nth degree

We need also to figure out how we are going to do it because they would sent all Sets to one recipient. So the taxes must be paid by one person and then shipped to everyone.

The GB price will be less than that.

The taxes can be paid afterwards before the package is sent to the final destination?
or an "estimation" of the taxes?

I dont think because when i ordered something from the US i have get a notice that i should get my packet from the Tax Office and in order to get i must pay the taxes.

I am going to ask but it seems that the interest is very low so i am not sure if it is going to happen.

Till now we have Billman and me cofirmed on the list.
