  • VDO white boost gauges do exist

It appears these white faced VDO boost gauges are available from the US. I've checked & they've got 20 in stock. They measure in psi but they should match the rest of the S2 instruments.

I'm going to be ordering one as they're only $27. I'm working on getting somebody to bring it over next week to avoid any shipping & import charges. I can't promise anything yet but PM me if you're definitely interested. I'll probably need to know by end of Wednesday this week so I can order them in time.

What pressure do you want to measure?

would 30PSI be enough? ( metric equivelant)

60 psi, lack bezel but a poor match.

I'll have to agree with Audi_CQ

Only 25 psi positive boost, and 30 psi of negative??? That don't sound right...

I'm looking for a boos gauge which goes to at least 2,5 bar without costing to much...

I need a 2 bar boost and matching EGT gauge. I've looked at Greddy and also Omori ( http://www.omorimeter.co.jp/english.html ). Omori is a close match, but the non-multicolor gauges isn't available with orange/red as standard.

What max boost should the homefries achieve - I thought it was about 1.4 bar ?

25 psi = approx 1.72 bar so that should be plenty enough shouldn't it ?

Oviously not looking at OZzzt's boost gauge at the moment,

I feel it will go higher!

                        Quite all right

But even that gauge is to "small" for me now. Planning to run somewhere between 2,2 and 2,5 bar in peak pressure...

I meant to post about this last week but was in a rush....
I went into Graham Goodes to see if they could get me one of these gauges, but in bar. They can but they wanted:- £120 for the gauge:eek2: :eek2:
Naturally i walked out the shop! It seems, he said, the electric gauges are half the price whereas the mechanical ones are exactly double.
So if you do manage to get them ill have one..

                            I've ordered 6 gauges for:

                            me
                            Alistair C
                            S2 Ant
                            GlynRS2
                            Beetie

So I'll have 1 spare if anyone else wants it. They'll be about £16 plus UK postage. I won't have them until April 19th so I can either post them or bring them to GTI International...

Make sure you don't get stung for custom charges and custom taxes.

And there are 2 colours of gauges in S2/RS2s - white and white with a greyish tint.
