My S2 was misfiring like a b#@*h a few weeks too. I changed the coilpack boots which were sold to me by fat audi 80 (the last of the 1st batch I believe) and et viola problem solved, motoring again Happy Days. Well Recommended.

Was yours misfiring only on full throttle while on a high load? i.e. in third or fourth from low down the revs? And more so when hot?

Yep, they were the exact symtoms of my misfire. Sounds like you've got the same promlem, I hope a new set of boots will sort it out for you.

They are of the same quality as the originals?

Hard to say, as the originals that I took out were in reasonable condition, but had a shiny. These boots are a matt rubber finish, but look and feel good quality.

I have had not complaints so far and the company "Kingsbourne" that supply them in the US, have been doing so for a while now...

55 previous customers on the last groupbuy and no complaints...

You pay your money and take your choice.
