Group buy 3 inch downpipe, anyone?

Yeah, mine has 2 bungs, but I ordered 3.

Furthermore, the internal diameter of the turbo flange is 61mm, which then reduces to 55mm for about 15mm in length. The DP is not 3" until 40mm away from the flange.

I can see that it would be impossible to have 3" right up to the flange - due to the bolt holes, but I had figured it would be larger than 61mm at the flange and 55mm for the first 15mm?

Isn't it possible to buy larger ID flanges?

Check jamo's thread, i'm sure he had a proper full 3 inch system top -> bottom and then went as far as havng a larger wastegate pipe

I've a small problem with my DP as it does not have the extra lambda port which was ordered and paid for. Does anyone have my DP by mistake?

@ Lloyd: Pretty sure that I didn't send it to someone else. Will look things up, pretty sure that the order was right. I believe the extra bung was Eur. 10,-?

I'm not an expert about the diameters, all the 3inchers with kkk-flanges I saw here in NL were smaller at the start. If you use k27 or k29 I'm sure there are bigger flanges around. Sorry if we Didn't clear that.

I received my downpipe, looks great will report back on how well it fits. Although the downpipe is not 3 inch at the very start it looks to be better than the cast section of the oem pipe which is what many use and then cone up to 3 inch after?
Any recommendation of where to get an egt probe reasonably priced to fit this?

On the EGT front, what size plug do I need to fit the port when not using it?

Yes, I've had mine fitted.

In the end I had the straight section of the DP extended by 10 mm to enable me to fit the CV heat shield in place.

The only way to do it is to use a 56mm to 76mm cone from the flange like http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39957

To be honest it's minimal on these 3" downpipes when using KKK flanges
