    Milltek catback exhaust for RS2

I have been talking with a well known company regarding a milltek catback exhaust for my RS2. Now he has said that if i could get 5 people together he would be willing to offer the exhaust at the following price,
SUPPLY ONLY £556.75 delivered Nxt day courier.
    FITTED £603.59.
Both prices are inclusive of VAT.
What do you think of the prices?

Doesn't sound too bad to me mate,I think I paid about £500 from Pete Reeve nearly 12 months ago, it might be worth giving him a ring

I spoke to Milltek about a month ago and the chap there said he was making the last batch of RS2 exhausts, 10 I think, and when they were gone that was it

            Some were already spoken for.

Have you spoken to Milltek or just your man?

I may be wrong, but thats what I was told.

            Pete

Just to my man. He said he had 5 in stock. It's a no go with Pete Reeve I'm afraid.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is better about these exhausts compared to the standard one?

Not really a hijack, I hope,

Sorry for my ignorance too, but is there a difference between a std S2 exhaust from the down pipe back and a similar S2 system?

                  Thanks.

Milltek exhausts are a larger pipe diameter (iirc) so are better flowing and are made of aircraft grade ss. They also offer a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser of the exhaust.
Not sure what the milltek weighs but have heard the original exhaust is super heavy.. And to add to all the above you get a wonderful exhaust note.

                      RS2 is 3" S2 is 2.75 inch

I have one of the original ones with a slash cut which you can't buy any more. They make a wonderful sound and 0 drone

                        Thanks for reply Jamo.

                        Just for my own information/clarification,

S2 factory standard exhaust is 2.75 inch.

RS2 factory standard exhaust is 3.00 inch.

S2 Miltek exhaust is 3.00 inch?

RS2 Miltek exhaust is the same as a Miltek S2 exhaust at 3.00 inches also. i.e. one and the same for both cars?

You're saying the original versions of the Miltek exhausts don't drone, but that the later versions do drone a bit at certain speeds?

How does the Miltek price of say £550.00 compare with the price of a factory RS2 3.00 inch exhaust? I acknowledge the different construction material used, stainless steel and mild steel.

                        Thanks.

                          NO Milltek S2 is 2.75 and RS2 is 3"

                          Standard S2 is 2.5 and standard RS2 is 2.75
