2010 SFS Coolant Hose Kit Order - 3B and ABY

Hi all,

Mark (Rotoryboy) and me are putting together a group buy for the coolant hose kit from SFS performance. It's been designed for the 3B and ABY but with minor modification it can fit the RS2 aswell.

The kit comprises of 9 hoses in total including the 2 matrix hoses at the rear of the engine (with bleed valve!) and also the ability to remove some hoses if you don't have the aux radiator. The kit doesn't include any hose fittings.

The kits can be in you choice of colour from:
Orange
Yellow
Red
Green
Blue
Purple
Black

SFS offer a very good warranty and if any manufacturing defect arises, they will remake a new hose for you.

The lead time is approx 2 weeks from the point of order but xmas may add a little onto this. So as soon as we have a decent order list, we can put the first order through.

The kits will be £225 +vat (£263.38) and p&p.

If you're interested, add your name to the list. The easiest method of payment will be to go through Mark via paypal (just getting his email address) but if you haven't got access to paypal im sure other methods can be arranged.

As for postage, within the UK thats pretty simple, as for abroad, this can be arranged and if there are several orders from 1 country, we could look into the possibility of shipping to 1 address and then distributing from there.

Hi Guys

Here are some photos to get a feel. I can do a reduction in price if you do not want the matrix hoses at the rear of the engine bay and the very long hose from the bottom of the expansion tank. I have added a photo with A and B. The 3 hoses in question are on the B side.

Another one to show the Aux rad hose (or at least how it fits). With no Aux rad, you just bung the larger hose and also the top of the rad.

Hi, whats the difference for the RS2. I am interested, but only if they fit properly.

Can they supply the little straight hose (nothing special) at the back of the thermostat? Seems a shame to leave that one out.

If it is a straight piece of hose, just let me know the length an diameter and Im sure we can manage. The RS2 has a 'Y' hose. Some of the guys on here have bought the kit for their RS2 and adapted it. I know nothing of this mod as I have no experience of the RS2.

Several of these kits have been sold on here and I have had only good feedback, so I would say they fit

Its the hose from the bottom of the water tank. I canny see why this is.. i can see how you could adapt the kit to fit pretty easy.. ( or change it to be like an s2.) The rs2 has a blanking plug on the bottom of the radiator ( which on an s2 the pipe from the bottom of the tank goes to.)

from what i understand this kit will work with both aby and 3b.

it'll take 2 weeks from the point of order for these kits and hopefully get that in asap!

if you're looking for non-oem, i dont think you'll get them alot faster unless someone is selling a kit on here?

i thought i had the Y hose once it blew on my old set, but i dont anymore. I have the normal ABY conversion but i would definitely like to have the Y hose made if possible.

It goes from the expansion tank all the way to the area under the water collector next to the block. On ABY the expansion tank goes to the radiator on the same area on the block, the 2 areas are joint by a small straight hose.
