I currently sat trying to figure out where all the hoses go using the family album...fun times. Do you know where the short length of 19mm and 9.5mm go??
If putting these tubes into an already assembled engine would be fairly simple...not with a completely stripped bay lol1996 Audi S2 - 295bhp and 326lb/ft - Complete Rebuild Project

Hi Paul,
My hoses made it across the pond to Canada.
Quicker than i thought. Thanks a lot.
I've got one issue with one of the water hoses. I'll send you an email.

Got your PM - will reply publically as this question comes up now and again - but I cannot find a sticky thread on it.
For unknown reasons, The RS2 used one unique hose that essentially merged the fat link at the water rail in a T-piece hose that connects to the expansion tank. On the RS2 there is an unused hose point that is blanked off (with a removable part) to complete that setup.
You absolutely CAN use the two S2 hoses on the RS2 without issues. The 'fat link' at the water rail is one... The other hose connects from bottom of expansion bottle to bottom of radiator after you remove the RS2 blank plug. Done a couple myself in the past - easy if a bit curious.Paul Nugent

Thanks for the clarification Paul. I was wondering why the bib on the radiator was blocked off.
Here's a picture of the two different hoses if anyone is interested.

Been putting all my engine bay back together over the last few weeks (FINALLY!!!) and noticed that on the hose that comes down from the turbo outlet, there is a hole in the side of that hose that obviously is meant to join to the one next to it. How have people done this? am i missing somthing? I've got a nice carbon fibre hose joiner anyway...1996 Audi S2 - 295bhp and 326lb/ft - Complete Rebuild Project
