If Dean bought the 560 for the small reds (304mm rotor) then it is logical to think that the 891 one with the bigger height could be the one for the larger rotor(322).

Whoever told you that the 560 pads are for the big reds, obviously is wrong since we have an example already with someone using the 560 on the small reds!

Could you ask him again giving him this extra information to see if we can get to the bottom of it?

I have a schedule with GT500 to get my calipers reneued in March so i am strongly considering fitting new pads as well. If this is not clarified i may as well go back to textars, but if there is a solution to the part numbers, then im happy to try the ferodo ones.
My info came from Circuit Supplies who are the UK importers for the DS2500 Pads...

I will seek clarification but Tim is away testing this week... But I do know that they are prone to getting some info wrong from my last group buy..

What we really need is someone to measure a set of pads, or if you can find the textar part number to cross reference with the Ferodo web site..

    I have been told that;

The price for the Brembo (FCP560) pads is just for the front, and I believe these are known as the "big reds".The rear pads are very similar in shape, but about 32mm shorter in width. These arent made in big numbers,so i guess thats why the price is higher than some other pad shapes.
    RS2 Front pads = FCP560

Rear, look like a shrunken version of the fronts, FCP451 (DS2500).
BUT I was told that these were for the BIG REDS!

As I said I don't know these calipers at all so this is all a new learning curve for me...

what i can locate from the ferodo site is:

Front: either FDS891 OR FDS560 these are off the porsche 993TT but one code is for brembo and one for Ate

Rear: FDS451 these are off porsche 928 or 968 which both use Ate rears and pads have the same part number.

I cannot measure the pads that are in the car now, but if someone can measure the Height of both fronts and rears, then we can make sure that these are the correct ones.
If the imaging is correct in the Ferodo site, then the ones listed for rs2 Rears, are wrong, and the ones here ( FDS451 ) are the correct ones.
For the fronts, the height difference is substantial between the 2 pads, and i presume one is for the 304 disc and the other for the 322. Since the 560 ones are already established that are for the 304 disc, i presume the FDS451 should be the correct part for the 322mm disc.

ANYWAY that these can be confirmed, i would be interested to know the price on those 2 sets!

    thanks

i have found that the rs2 front calipers (Big reds) have the following part numbers:

    993-351-425(426)-10 Front calipers

could not find the ecxact rear rs2 caliper (porsche number)

    Pads:

    Front (for 322x32) : 993-351-949-00
    Rear (299x24) : 965-352-939-04

does ferodo have any equivalent to those?

Ferodo pads DS2500 for the RS2 Part No

So the the Ferodo part no for the front 304mm rotors (small reds) I fitted to my RS2 is FCP560H.

It's gonna take a couple of weeks to get it all in place... so maybe worth sticking your name down..
