VAG Tools

[s2 newbie]

Hi I have been trying to prurchase VAG 2084 and found it is NLA (I even went to the compnay in Germany that supply VAG to try and get any old stock they had). While trying to source this tool I have also got prices for VAG3212 £20.95 + VAT and VAG3256 £52.89 + VAT.

If anyone is interested in these tools I will try and get a discount on multiple items. The response I got from from VAG is below.

As you can see by the string below that the VAG2084 is no longer available.

Matra cannot supply individuals therefore you must contact VW UK Ltd Tools and Equipment directly.

The 3212 will cost £20.95 plus VAT and the 3256 £52.89 plus VAT there is also a carriage charge of £8.00.

Yeah sorry they are for doing the cambelt change VAG3256 is Crankshaft locking tool for ABY (VAG2085 is for the 3B which is NLA) VAG3212 Pulley counter hold tool I think this is for all the s2 engines. Hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge will confirm.

I am just doing this to try and help anyone looking for these tools out as I have learnt so much reading the forums how to/guides.

I need VAG2084 so if anyone has one for sale I would be very interested or if anyone is able to copy/reproduce there is definetly a market as it is now NLA.
