I would advise twin 30amp relays with the power taken from the battery.

Run the relays down the sides of the pillars like you suggested but extend them enough so you can meet in the middle before you bond the screen in. Then the rest of the wiring will easy

actually i have no Problem at all i was a little confused why u asked if everyone got his windshields.
I was thinking thats not possible from the UK to me that has to take longer, but since i thought u wanna know i posted it.

So from my side everything is allright, im happy waiting for my windshield to arrive
