    Plasma HO coil group buy

Okada Projects makes ingition solutions and coilpacks with worldwide patented plasma direct - technology.

The whole idea in their coilpacks, is to manipulate the spark voltage, making it AC instead of DC, which multiplies the spark amperage by four, hence providing more reliable ignition, especially on high boost and rich mix scenarios.

Other trick inside is to compress the spark burn time shorter, so the actual momentary spark energy can be multiple times, although current draw from car's electric system is the same when using traditional ignition systems.

I had an honour to meet the mastermind of this technology. He is the same man, who originally designed the legendary "034 HO coilpack" for E85-fueled bus motor, in USA.

Now it would be possible to have plasma direct technology inside the IGN-1A aka 034 HO-coilpack, if I we get enough buyers.

Benefit over traditional 034 coilpack is four times more powerful spark, without using any other tricks.

15-25pc order price is 110eur + vat per piece
25-35pc order price is 105eur + vat per piece
over 35pc order price is 100eur + vat per piece

Products would be delivered from Plasma Projects, Netherlands. Shipping cost is to be added, but if You are in EU, no other costs bur VAT is added.

Post of interest here, orders to me in email

          More simple.

I have an AAN on the dyno as we speak with 2.0Tfsi Plasma COPs.

While I was calibrating the engine management, there were moments when I had .6 lambda at 1.9bar boost, and had no misfires. 2.5ms dwell time.

This bus coil had multiple times the spark power of the tfsi version.

How about Plasma direct COP? https://shop.plasmaprojects.com/prod...ma_Direct.html
I'm more interested in such a solution in stead of remote mounted coilpacks.

Yes, TFSI cops are spot on instead of 1.8T cops, as they are slightly taller. I have had nothing but good to say about these, if not thinking about them being a bit expensive compared to stock units.

Although, I have never heard a plasma cop to fail, so in long run these may even be cheaper than normal cops.

Plasma Projects charge €855,- but i've seen $770 before. I might be interested in a set if the price is better. Perhaps it can be added to the coilpack groupbuy if enough response?

                    Compare from the US: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...88#post5560088

Still, genuine red coilpack 06E905115E going rate is $20,- at the moment.

Is the wire loom the same as for the 1,8t coil set on AAN ?

The prices in the first post, that is only the price for 1 unit - right ? does the coil include spark cable ?

Wiring is identical to 034 ho coilpack. Difference to 1.8T coilpack wiring is the connector at the coil end.

There is difference in wiring, I will check precise data later tonight
