David, with regards to savings it varies on the product but on average it appears to be about 10-20% discount from RRP, and possibly more in some cases i.e. complete suspension kits and coilover kits etc.

whats the saving over normal RRP out of initerest. WOuld they also offer a cost for rebuild of existing shocks? I wouldn't mind a cost for a revalving of my B6's for info.

Hi Sonic, Bilstein have come back to and are advising that they can rebuild any dampers, but the cost are approx £100.00 per damper

If its for B6's then it might just be worth buying new ones...?

Bilstein B6 rears = £110.00 each inc VAT

In answer to your question about how hard the ride will be is difficult for me to answer as I have no personal experience of the two types, but hopefully someone on here might be able to shed some light on this?

I don't think the B6's will be too firm, I would say they are more like OEM refined

I am interested in a set of B6 rears for an RR urquattro 1990.I have Konis at the moment but one is on its way out.I have heard Bilsteins are generally a harder ride than Konis.Is this true?

Before you throw them away, I just spoke to someone at Balance Motorsport who said that they offer a service where you send them to Bilstein, who take them apart and then let you know how much the rebuild will cost. So it could cost £50 or much more depending on what they need. They also sell them new...
