This is correct, the S2 3B and 200q20v 3B flywheels ARE different. BTDT!!!!

If I remember correctly the most obvious difference is that the spigot bearing on the 200 is pressed into the rear of the crankshaft whilst on the 3B it is pressed into the flywheel itself?

Yup, that bearing is pressed into the crank on the 200, and it must be pressed into the flywheel on an S2 3B. Taking the one off of my 200 3B out was an outright b|tch.

can somebody explain, what is the difference between 3B flywheel(8kg) and ADU flywheel(14kg) in drive?

ABY/ADU flywheel is a DUAL-MASS device with complicated spring and damper system used to make for smoother drivetrain. Much less resonance. Downside of dualmass flywheel is that increased weight impacts the engines ability to accelerate...

Albert, I think that some the Dutch members of our community has a recearch going on on light 3B flywheels. They were aluminium with steel friction face IIRC. I just can't remember who was it. There are messages and pictures about it from about last summer. Jeffer or Cees or someone?!

If you are asking me, then it's for 01e gearbox and std block. Price for material for making it was ~150Eur + work, somwhere there are drawings but I must find it
