    Hi all,

I have found the downloadable catalogue from Focal. If you look through it and find the model of speaker you want, then you can see the spec of the speaker including mounting depth measurements.

It would be great if someone can confirm the depths on both avant/sedan and coupe rear speakers??

    Here's the link: http://www.focal.com/en/56-universal-

Once on the page, click on 'Catalog - Car Audio 2014 (EN)'

    Many thanks
    Yaz

    Hi Guys,

Whats the general consensus for coupe rears speakers? Is there one model that is preferred over others?

    Cheers
    Gordon

I don't know if this still applies but Genesis Amps were the Dogs Doo Dars in the late nineties. I haven't used them yet,Alpines being flavour back in the 80's/early nineties but i suspect the Genesis's are superior. Size is all a matter of opinion but i can tell you a small 2 channel Genesis amp should be able to pack a stunning image musically with nice firm and weighty base.If i were you try to find a space other than screwing the amp on the back of the rear seat. Hope that helps.

    Mark,

Why did I think this would be easy !

Don't want to go the trial and error route, so do you have details of which modern speakers will fit the rears, best base output etc... I figure a modern speaker will be better than the the originals ....

Will definitely go for the fronts and if there is a rear option the will go for that too

    Thanks

    Paul

Hi Eric, thanks for your input and I think it's clear now that the rears are 5.25" across the board.
The only difference is the coupe has the tweeter either side of the parcel shelf, avant/sedan are located on the doors by the handle and cabrios do not have a separate tweeter.

Please correct me if this is not the case peeps.
    Thanks
    Yaz

P.S. the Pioneer TS' are very good, but whenever you fancy a change let me know

But they also have a seperate tweeter .

If I only waited a month lol
    (bought some PIONEER TS's)
