Doesnt Hard Anodising send the Aluminium Brown, thats why they then dye it black, as its the only colour that will cover the brown up???

My tell's me difrently. Fhe finall color is silver.

034 aluminum subframe mounts that are billet aluminum on my b5 sat out in the parking lot
of my shop for over two years and are still the same color as when I purchased them. Are these
any different?

No I'm not worried that they are I'm just saying because Kev was wondering
about the hard anodizing. Usually the aluminum pieces come out silver just like
you stated.

anodizing has nothing with color ... it's artificial oxide layer that can be painted whatever the color
