noticed rust on both my arches now, this could be a good option for me and some weight saving to boot....look fwd to the pictures Will they have all the standard bolt-holes etc?

yes they will apart from at the very base of the wing by the rub strip is a tab for the arch liner that i have had to delete due to this being a 5 piece mould already, to keep it stock. this could be replaced by bonding a washer in place, then the at the back of the wing is a bracket riveted to the pannel and bolts to the a pillar this will need to be attached to the new wing.

Fair play for even attempting this, the lines from the mould wouldn't matter if the wing was to be painted but it would be nice to be able to leave them eu-natural if so desired.

Better luck with the next one

As above, don't write it off just yet, if someone is going to paint it, it'll be fine.

                    What does it weigh?

Agreed. Fair play for giving this a go...!

Are the lines just in the gelcoat or has the carbon pulled slightly at the mould joins?

As mentioned, if it's to be painted it shouldn't matter :-)

As others have said, keep going. It looks good for a first attempt. Well done.
If you get it right, there could be a lot of interest for these. I've been after a pair to be painted to look and fit like OEM for a long time.
