Sorry if this throws a spanner into the gear box so to speak but two years ago I ordered a Sachs clutch kit for my ABH V8 out of Germany. It included the pressure plate and disc and throw-out bearing. This kit also fits the ABY and ADU DMFWs. I paid 260 Euros plus extra shipping to Canada.

The two kits that work are:

    Luk - 624 1420 00
    Sachs - 3000 951 053

    http://www.autoersatzteile24.at/786517-sachs

Even cheaper out of the UK:

    http://autopartstechnik.co.uk/3000-9...lutch-kit.html

The ABH V8, ABY and ADU all have a "dog dish" flywheel with a lip as shown here:

As a result the pressure plate, now Audi PN 077141117L (originally 077141117E, then 117J then 117L or 117LX rebuilt) has to look like this on the left (normal and wrong pressure plate on the right):

    94 UrS4 V8 6 spd manual avant

That's for the standard OEM equivalent clutch though, not the SRE performance version?

Some companies in Germany has a better deal only if they offered only domestic shipping.

Correct. All my research was based on stock applications for the ABH V8 and ABY and ADU 20VT.

Does Joe still do clutches? I was under the impression he quit making them?
