Update on Samco COOLANT Hoses

Right heres the latest scoop with the boys at Samco... They want to make the coolant hoses available thru normal distribution channels and so this allows them to waive any tooling charges.

The upside is of course a cheaper kit price, but we'll only have an exclusive deal at this price for a limited time - approx 4-6 months before they are made generally available.

So based on the quotes I have for seven out of the nine hoses in a complete kit, I can offer the 7-hose kit to the forum at the ridiculous price of £110 including VAT.

I estimate another £15-20 for the two heater matrix hoses but will confirm that later.

Those of you that do not require the Aux rad hoses can probably reduce the price by about £20 on the kit price. Again I need all the exact prices to be confirmed by Samco before I can quote exact prices.

Let me see what I can do regards hose clips and bungs for that price - based on the interest we get here.

Whats the verdict then ?

Damn good price on those hoses! I should think there will be plenty of interest at that price. I had the top radiator hose blow on my car a week or two ago, Audi price for one hose was £117 + vat...ouch!! Lucky Robin came to the rescue with a spare hose, so I didn't need to go through the stealers. I'll have the whole set in black or red, minus the aux rad hoses..pls

Keep 'em coming lads - and yes this kit should be 3B, ABY & RS2 friendly. I have to double check the heater matrix hoses for any Coupe/Avant issues but I don't expect anything nasty.

Whats the difference in pipes for the kit for Aux Rad, No Aux Rad?

Even though i'm not running an Aux Rad at present if i wanted to revert it back to standard......

Potentially Interested in a set in black, between you and Martyn your going to leave me bankrupt!

There is a slight difference in the top hose from 3B to ABY. The 'T' that goes from the top hose to the after run pump comes out at a different angle. This isn't an issue though because both hoses fitted on my 3B without any problems.
