If you think thats interesting, try reading these!!

There's been a long running argument about wether the car really produces anywhere near the claimed 1100bhp. From looking at the videos I think the guy is a mile out and it's actually producing about half what he claims.
It's a shame really because he's obviously put in a lot of hard work, but at the end of the day his power claims are purely based on mathmatical theory ( i.e. air flow through the turbo and fuel flow through the injectors ) not dyno results. Should be interesting to see what happens if/when he actually get the car dyno'd in Paris as he is promising.

If it helps, I read an article about the Bugatti Veryon at the weekend - this car has manufacturer figures of 1000bhp (as near as dammit), and they talk about losses and what not.

He said something like "energy-wise, this engine actually produces 3000bhp, but we lose 1000bhp through the exhaust and 1000bhp through the transmission, so we have 1000bhp to drive the wheels..."

He also said in the same article that you "theoretically need only 280bhp to hit 155mph" or something like that.

Indeed from looking at that video, that car makes no where near 1000 hp.
2 weeks ago I raced a 360 Modena on the highway. And i drove away from it really fast. It wasnt even a match. Embarrising for the Ferrari. And If you think of it..... the 360 weighs almost the same as the S2 and has no where near the power I have....

That exhaust manifold does not look efficient at all.
1000hp?!? That EM would melt down to a pile of slag.
