RMS Exhausts - Dont take your S2 there!

Just a word of caution to anyone in central Scotland looking for a stainless steel exhaust specialist - I wouldn't recommend RMS Sainless STeel Exhausts in Prestwick.

Fitted what was supposed to be a replacement stanless steel de-catted system - not a sports exhaust, just a replacement.

Result after 4 visits was a pile of poo!

More restrictive than a stock unit (by quite a way) and generally very poor.

Dont go near them with your S2.

Thanks for the heads up. I was tempted to use this company after reading good experiences and recommendations on the Audifans forum! Wonder why you had such a bad experience - change of personnel maybe?

This system is the difference between 250 BHP and 420 BHP. The only difference and I mean nothing else was preventing the car from producing the 420 BHP it's putting out now....

Additionally, the system was meant to have cat bypass pipes, the only issue is you can't bolt up the stock cats to the downpipe anymore, as they have changed the flanges...

I didn't know the name of the company that made the system and I'd have rather not known it....
