15mm is fine thats what i run, you can run with 20mm if you want a wider track, personal choice really.

The S4 Avant should be a straight fit, should both be ET45 (realised you said later S8 alloys)

I run with 20mm, gives me that 'Hugo Fandango' look the girls love!!!. I had them machined.

I am also using the later style S8, but have had some custom centres machined so that I could retain the original S2 caps. They simply knock out when I need tyres changing etc.

Any excuse to show pics, shes going soon

          Regards

          Imran.

i run 20 mm spacers with 18" S8 ET 48 and they fit very good with standard suspension high, tyres 225/40/18. RS4 ET35 18" replicas will fit fine without any spacers for sure.
