        Nice one...Will check it then.

Yeah Farecla is PC applied...comes in paste or liquid form.
Some of the pros swear by it .....and it is superb....like I say though.....it splats around a bit which is its only downside....

I'd only use Farecla (especially G3) with a real rotary , I think even the slated Dewalt
in the initial link is a bit more capable of breaking down and optimising Farecla compounds than the PC IMHO..

Eric, can I ask why you refer to the De Walt as slated? What in your opinion do you consider to be best?

If I can find it, why can't they ? (hint- tell em to look in FA, under chemical materials and enter "Z5T".)
Blue Pearl effect paint code is Z5T, sometimes quoted with an "L" in front, LZ5T (data sticker would quote that)

Touch up stick (touch up set) is part number; L 0Z5TP2 (18ml)

Spray can (Spray can set) is part number; L 0Z5T06 (300ml)

Mine is a pure rotary polisher (was expensive but I forget the name!!)
its always been great but Ive used it quite a bit so no danger or burning paint.....is a good rotary classed as better or worse than a random orbital ala the PC?? (or is it how its used that determines this?? as in a novice can't knacker his paint with a PC??)
                just curious

                  At Jas,

The fairy liquid strips all of the previous wax etc off so that you start with a clean base. I DO NOT recommend repeated use....

                  Cheers,

Sorry bad english (spent too much time in the states), I meant indicted or mentioned , the DeWalt has a few advantages over the PC (but) the PC is toy of the year, I'd go for the DW443 over the pc, but you'll find most pros hae a non-random machine polisher (we call it a buffer up here), makita,.dewalt, bosch some are really old models and handed down in bodyshops etc, as most things , everybody tries and sticks to what they like or feel is effective.

IMHO for those working on 'hard paint' VAG etc, a PC ain't gonna be agressive enough
(irrespective of compunds used) to do it justice in a sensible amount of time, plus I'd spend my time being proficient and confident with a rotary first.....

Rotary is better if you know what you are doing.
I don't, so that the reason I bought an orbital.
Judging by the times I've used mine so far, the only way you can damage the paint is if you knowingly use a very high cutting compound, or you actually drop the ****** on your paint

                      For this effect on my door (strong light source to show zero swirl marks), I used;

1/ PC + megs #83 machine glaze + medium cutting pad,
2/ PC + megs #80 speed glaze + light cutting pad,
3/ PC + megs #9 swirl remover + medium polishing pad,
4/ PC + Klasse all-in-one + fine polishing pad to seal,
5/ P21s concours wax applied by hand and buffed off with PC.

Slightly disagree Eric mate, I've de-swirled the paint, was hard going but with a bit of patience it is possible with a PC.
Have shown my door above as it's the original paint, rather than showing a pic of my recently painted bonnet.

sure you can do it with a pc and patience = time = money , i've never used a rotary or pc on mine , but I'm happy using them for work
