Hi there,
I have a '91 7A with a relayed Spal aftermarket fan that is connected straight to the battery.
Spal fan performs great in cooling the coolant. However, somehow the plastic relay housing around 87 pin gradually melts over 2-3 years and has been replaced multiple times.
The wires are thick and robust and the relay is a high quality Spal relay. Why does this happen and how do I prevent it?
Thank you!
